Amelia, thank you so much for choosing me four years ago. I love you. Brychwyn, I hope your birthday was wonderful! (I heard you had a very long walk.) Huxley, happy, happy birthday to you, our big baby! (As in the largest and youngest Cascadian Nomads dog.) Have you ever had to miss spending special days with your pets? What do you and your pets do to make the most of each and every day? Share this post: Four years ago, on November 8th, Amelia came to her forever home with the Cascadian Nomads from the Seattle Animal Shelter. Brychwyn turns four today, Sunday, November 9th. And on November 10th, Huxley celebrates his third birthday. Happy Birthday to the Cascadian Nomads "baby" Huxley. Happy Gotcha Day to special long legged cat, Amelia, and Happy Birthday to adorable short legged dog, Brychwyn. Share this post: Typist: Bethany April Fools day comes again and welcome to the Cascadian Nomads blog one year anniversary and the beginning of our Blogging from A to Z April Challenge. One year ago, I found it appropriate to launch this blog on April 1st, since what pushed me to finally begin the blog might have been foolish. I began planning (what felt to me like) a last minute drive across the country, from Seattle to Buffalo and back with my three dogs. I wanted to document and share the planning process as well as the epic trip itself, so this blog was born. With all I had to do to prepare for such an undertaking, making a website and launching a blog was probably an unwise thing to spend my time on but I have no regrets. And the memories of my absolutely amazing cross-country journey continues to bring tears to my eyes. I couldn't be more pleased about the friends we made along the way, both here on the blog andin person during our travels. |
